We went this route because he isn't putting weight on his back right leg anymore (you can even see the muscle atrophy--look at the difference--it's not because of the angle). As for Project Treadstone, there have been three fatalities-by-automobile and one litter of three kittens, two of whom were caught and adopted fairly early.

So here I am, on the third anniversary of Animal Person, asking for advice that has nothing to do with veganism or animal rights (and I've tweeted about this so some of you already know what's coming). And on a down note, Gray Momma of Project Treadstone was hit by a car and euthanized a couple of days ago.

From the feral cats of Project Treadstone to Charles' back surgery to problems with Violet's Vetsulin (insulin for dogs), we had more than our share of issues. So he is being re-veganized (Violet's already vegan), as long as his back and leg aren't adversely affected. to see the full effects of this type of major surgery.

mikey, my stance can be seen in the posts about Project Treadstone (and if you type Project Treadstone into the Google Search box just below my half-blind, diabetic greyhound, Violet Rays, on the right, you'll get a dozen more posts). However, I don't think (and as you allude to) the situation is black and white.
