She said her Trapper Man could go to the Project Treadstone site--last night and this morning--and trap up to 10 cats that she would bring to Pahokee. However, she does have people who can help, and now that Pahokee's open they will focus some time each week on Project Treadstone!

As for Project Treadstone, there have been three fatalities-by-automobile and one litter of three kittens, two of whom were caught and adopted fairly early. Finally, I was asked to participate in a new TNR group in my town that started largely because of my oodles of questions and setting of policy for Project Treadstone!

I was in a hurry and it's a terrible photo, but when I get him back this evening I'll have another chance. I shall redeem myself, I hope, later, with better photos. Or at least the hawks here.

Speaking of Project Treadstone, Powder Puff, seen below, died over the weekend. My only hope is that other kitties at Project Treadstone aren't suffering someplace hidden.

And on a down note, Gray Momma of Project Treadstone was hit by a car and euthanized a couple of days ago. Also, there are three kittens, who are the only kittens since Project Treadstone began, so that's not so bad. Tags: Activism Current Affairs. Anyone have suggestions or advice? From the feral cats of Project Treadstone to Charles' back surgery to problems with Violet's Vetsulin (insulin for dogs), we had more than our share of issues. As for Project Treadstone, after several false starts, trapping, spaying and neutering will resume next week. Tags: Current Affairs Greyhound Matters.
