Lewis's Woodpecker in New York State

So you can imagine our disappointment when we crawled out of the car after our trip to find out that Mike was in fact relaxing in the warm kitchen and had no idea where the woodpecker was! After a lot of backing and forthing, the vendor accepted our offer and the wood is to become a trust to be protected in perpetuity. There will probably be environmental studies and enhancements to encourage wildlife. Blue T**s and Great T**s abound as do Greater Spotted Woodpeckers. Feeder stations! Just try and stop me!
