The SPCA does some amazing work on behalf of our animal friends all over the globe. With the work that the SPCA does, soldiers who connect with animals in war zones, often get the chance to reconnect with them when they return home from service. And just a note to all you cat lovers out there, they have rescued cats as well!

Danny and Ben were rescued on April 27 by the Ohio SPCA after receiving a complaint about malnourished horses. They were brought to the Ohio SPCA Farm Sanctuary to recover physically and heal spiritually. The Ohio SPCA operates solely on donations.

50 surviving horses were rescued. The Humane Society of the United States, SPCA of East Texas and Humane Society of North Texas worked with the Smith County District Attorney's Office to rescue 50 horses from a Lindale property. The SPCA, Lothnianís Animal Rescue and Rehoming Center have taken custody of the animal and are providing it with care. An animal shelter or animal rescue center are good options. Recently, it was in the news that a man left a bearded dragon in the mens toilet at a supermarket in Edinburgh.

Pit Bull Rescue Central (PBRC) is a great resource for pit bull owners and those that find a homeless or lost pit bull. Another option is to call your local Human Society or Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, also known as the SPCA. Find Your Found Pit Bull a Home.
