The magnificent view from the Cliff House includes the Seal Rocks just offshore. It’s all of the things I learn about different birds from researching to write posts. At the Northwest corner of San Francisco is Point Lobos. Just South of Point Lobos is Sutro Baths and the Cliff House Restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Ottenby Nature Reserve is run by The Swedish Ornithological Society and visitors can observe researchers collecting data and birds being caught in the mist nest and funnel traps on site. This island is home to roughly 400 wooden windmills that pattern the landscape and Ottenby Nature Reserve and Lighthouse on the southern tip.
