Well, I am here for you…I have always found it fitting that the most beloved birder makes his home at the world’s most-trafficked birding blog…I sit atop a mighty precipice of power birding and bird bloggery…and in my position as being a leading light, it feels only right to give back to all the would-be bloggers out there.

German Birding Blitz

My only thought of why it took me over two minutes to see it right in front of me can only be attributed to light-headedness from the high altitude. Oh yeah… I was able to find two species frogs, two species of salamanders, two species of lizards and one species of snake, so I was even able to get my herp fix in !

Tri-colored Herons on the water front of La Paz.

These lovely birds are actually quite common, many of which can be seen right along the water front of down town La Paz. This one caught a nice fat salamander. In my continuing coverage on the herons and egrets of La Paz, I am going to show off the Tri-colored Heron.
