We were at Big John’s pond and a red tailed hawk came out of nowhere and we thought he was going to fly right into the blind. My first bird in Washington DC, where I am visiting for the weekend. Right after getting the anchor set, what to my eyes should I see, but several P urple Martins flying above the boat!
