Then, in 2018, other researchers did DNA testing on the sample specimen and found it was just an ordinary Yellow-rumped Tinkerbird with some kind of slight color mutation ( source ). But the text was last updated in 2015 while the DNA research was done in 2018. But the same species was never found again.

A new, reliable spot for Honduran Emerald has just recently been discovered within an hour of Lake Yojoa, along with some staggering side targets.

For long it was assumed that the saplings cannot survive being under water half a year, from spring to August, but recently another theory was tested. Interestingly, in April 2015 , I was here with a group of international birding guides, at the embankment south of the Strymonas Bridge, when one of them spotted a Scrub Robin for a moment.
