Parent L'Oreal said the difficult economic climate hit Body Shop sales in Britain, Spain and North America. When she sold to L'Oreal, with its questionable history and animal testing, it was a real betrayal of the company's practices and principles (in my opinion.) But it's better than believing she just wanted the money.
