There is a saying among birders – not very well known – that if life gives you lemonade, you should take photos of Chinese Blackbird chicks.

Week To Week Birding

Each week a new species tried to test the patch for nesting territory. Apart from some Red-winged Blackbirds, I don’t think any of the other species had a successful go at this territory, was the pesticides? Last week, a Merlin flew in, dove at some blackbird and kept going. The first week it was a Sedge Wren.
