Famous ornithologist Ted Parker crashed into a mountain in Ecuador while surveying birds. Having learned from my Namibian experience I walked away briskly. In my family, we have a tradition (in place since 1347 when we survived the Black Death) of “ wait over the weekend and see what happens ”. And so forth.
