I like to see birds for a long time and hear their vocalization; even if these are common species. A couple of months ago I took a true pelagic trip off the coast of Peru. Ok, I had studied the storm-petrels, but these were far and could not get a long-enough view at them to test how well or badly prepared I was.

With around 400 species recorded for the area, yeah, it’s where we might all like to quarantine for a bit! Named after the Army Ants that are often seen in that area, David Segura has been documenting an expected large number of bird species (check put the eBird list). A Fantastic Day of 200 Plus Species.
