Most of their testing is repetitive, useless, and/or designed to create clones of drugs whose patents are about to run out.

The penguins are well cared for by the South African powers that be–the national parks system and the Southern African National Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB), which rescues damaged penguins and other seabirds.
