A rescued manatee gives birth at SeaWorld Orlando early on Wednesday morning! Story background: On June 8, 2012, SeaWorld’s Animal Rescue team traveled to Sykes Creek in Merritt Island, Fla. to rescue a 10-foot manatee. SeaWorld’s Animal Rescue team is on call 24/7 to save and care for injured, orphaned or ill animals.

Jayne had a pet carrier handy for wildlife rescue and the eagle was transported to Peace River Wildlife Center and treated for electrocution. One morning she discovered the male eagle on the ground, appearing – as you can see from the two photos – unwell.

Cathy Cudmore, who helps rehabbers with hummingbird transport in Arizona, points out that while power companies may have easements, disturbing an active bird nest is a violation of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and thus a crime. The companies have to cover the costs of hiring experts and consultants.

A State of WI Department of Natural Resources Warden rescued him and brought him to REGI. “Hurry,” he told the sheriff. This eagle is not long for this world.”. It was Megan’s first day as an intern for REGI.

Danny and Ben were rescued on April 27 by the Ohio SPCA after receiving a complaint about malnourished horses. Little Ben was so sick that he had to be transported to Woodland Run Equine Veterinary Center. They were brought to the Ohio SPCA Farm Sanctuary to recover physically and heal spiritually.

Orphaned by her mother, the female calf arrived at the park’s rehabilitation center on July 24 after being rescued from the waters of Daytona Beach, Fla. The animal was transported to SeaWorld by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission. SeaWorld is the global leader in the rescue and rehabilitation of manatees.
